"Look at this extensive work. Observe this genocide," one shouts.

These individuals are exulting in a atrocity that aid workers suspect killed more than 2,000 people in the African metropolis of the Darfur city in recent weeks.

A Community Isolated from the Globe

Having held the community under siege for almost two years, from the summer the paramilitary force proceeded to reinforce its dominance and prevent access for the surviving residents.
